You know, we are just rolling off of National Pizza Day. While a nice and hot freshly-baked pizza rules the night (and sometimes cold pizza in the mornings), pancakes are the king of the breakfast table.
Who doesn't remember a Saturday morning where Mom and/or Dad are busy in the kitchen making pancake and you get to wake up to that deliciously wonderful smell of fresh-baked pancakes, maybe some smokey bacon, and definitely cooked-to-order eggs.
I can smell it now.
So, for International Pancake Day, let's take that childhood nostalgia and celebrate pancakes...cheeseburger style.
